We're pretty biased (being born & raised in Liverpool) but we think Liverpool is great & we're not the only ones. Plenty of students who study in the city stay on after University & we're inundated with tourists daily. We just wanted to share a few reasons of why we love the city so much.
• Liverpool is full of history. From the waterfront to the beautiful architecture throughout the city, there's history at every corner. We have multiple museums where you can go to find out everything there is to know about Liverpool past & present.
• Whether you're a music fan or not you'll be aware of Liverpool's rich music culture. I'm sure you'll have heard of Liverpool's most famous band The Beatles amongst others such as The Coral, Echo & the Bunnymen, Frankie goes to Hollywood & The Wombats. If you're after live music, then plenty of pubs frequently have bands on that you can go and watch.
• The nightlife in Liverpool is unrivalled. We have every variety of bar & club you could think of and you're sure to have a great night out! Whether you fancy a pub crawl or a full-on night of clubbing there's something to suit you.
• The people in Liverpool are the friendliest people you could hope to meet. Scousers have a reputation for being welcoming for a reason, you're never going to be short of a friendly face when visiting Liverpool.
• Liverpool One is the heart of the city centre & it's the place to go if you're looking for some shopping. As well as Liverpool One, we also boast a high street full of well-known shops & Bold Street if you're looking for something more independent.
• Liverpool also has some beautiful parks and nearby beaches which are perfect for relaxing & appreciating some greenery in the city. The fact that we're such an urban city with beaches so close is also really special.
• We're lucky enough that we have 2 premier league football teams in Liverpool so whether you're red or you're blue you can get involved.
These are just a small fraction of the reasons that Liverpool is amazing. It's a fabulous city for living in or investing in property.
